Getting There

Emerald is accessible via the Capricorn Highway from both Brisbane (9 hours) and Rockhampton (3 hours). Emerald Airport has daily flights from Brisbane via QantasLink and Alliance Airlines.

One thing to be upfront about: our apartments do not accommodate pets. Assistance and support animals are welcome, but dogs entered in the show are not, so competitors travelling with dogs generally arrange kennelling or a caravan park and stay with us only if the dogs are housed elsewhere.

For judges, officials, and the family and friends coming along to watch, we are well placed at 28–30 Esmond Street — walking distance from the CBD, free undercover parking, and a full kitchen and washer-dryer in every apartment for a weekend spent trackside.
